Although aluminium parts look great because of their precision and their shiny finish, my bank account was in very serious danger of heading a long way south if I started buying every single detail part in aluminium. The compromise was 'fauxluminium'. This is a material that I just made up about 4 seconds ago. It looks a lot like aluminium but has the exact same characteristics of resin coated with aluminium spray paint. These are the results.
