After yet another trip to Bunnings to stock up on paint, I finally got the painted Utility Arms mounted in the carrier. This time I'm hoping it's permanent.
Speaking of Bunnings, I should ask those snoozers to sponsor my project. I'm sure I'm funding the education of a whole herd of kids whose parents work at Bunnings with all the money I've dropped there. Next time you go to the doctor's for a check up, look out for the certificate hanging on his wall that says "I went to Med School on Dave's R2 Scholarship".
Ok, enough about the quack and back to the project.
So the arms are painted and back in the carrier. I had to file the bushings down a few thou' to allow for the paint.

Now the carrier can be attached to the frame.

After that was done, I got the garage up to temperature with my trusty little fan heater (purchased from Bunnings) and primed the front outer skin. It should be ready to paint tonight, but it's chucking it down outside so humidity is a concern.
The one thing I've found that I'm spewing about is that the arms (because of their depth) foul against the openings in the skins if I try and swing them out. Not a major set back, but I'd rather leave them as is instead of cutting the openings to accommodate movement at the expense of a close fitting gap.
